Part of the Spring/Summer 2019 Babel collection, this piece holds in its seams the tension between order and chaos. The muted jersey base is elevated by metallic/internally structured elements (“illuminium sticks”) which nod to the aluminium poles seen in Babel’s wearable tents: rigid fragments that let the form shift, respond, even distort, depending on how you wear it.

The cut is elongated, dramatic, with subtle angular paneling; light catches the metallic elements inside, making the piece almost alive in motion. A collector’s piece — as much a statement of design philosophy as a garment.
